Considering that the negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic are still quite difficult to anticipate and that extraordinary measures to support the economy and maintain employment under Portugal 2020 are in the process of being implemented, disclosed through CIC Resolution No 08/2020 of 28 March 2020, which will entail new decisions and changes, in particular at the level of the European Social Fund (ESF) Information System itself, the Managing Authority of OP ISE advises beneficiaries to:
  • Do not submit immediately, Change Requestso with a view to postponing the date of completion of operations, but waiting some more time to be able to assess, in a more realistic way, the negative impacts of the extraordinary situation that we are experiencing in the period of implementation of operations and to know the new determinations regarding the maximum permissible duration of operations;
  • Include us Reimbursement Requests 1/2020, which are in the process of being prepared, only the expenditure not linked to actions or activities suspended, postponed or cancelled In order to combat the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, since, as stipulated in CIC Resolution No 8/2020, this expenditure will be subject to exceptional treatment, which should be regulated and delimited for the purposes of financing by the European Social Fund, with more concrete guidelines expected to be issued very soon.
